Seward

Seward, Alaska, population approximately 3000, is situated on the Kenai Peninsula on Resurrection Bay, 126 miles south of Anchorage. Seward was named after Abraham Lincoln’s Secretary of State, who pressed for the US purchase of Russian Alaska. Seward is the end point of many cruises to Alaska, and the southernmost point of the Alaska Railroad, making for convenient connections on into the state.
